The GolDEn FeathER

I saw a golden feather
I saw a golden feather
So light so delicate
So sexy so chocolate
Flying on music, in red weather
I saw a golden feather…

The curve that it made
Was as crescent makes with night
Kidnapped by stars
So twinkle so bright
The bent was her smile
The stars were her eyes
She still floating
Her hair …the Nile

It came down to me
Rested on my palm
I started smiling too
With breeze in stomach, so calm

Than from nowhere came a violent wind
And my feather rushed away
For that air it was just a twig
I knew, so decided to stay
I know she will come back
As tired sands to bay…

Slowly flying this time she came back
As if musical winds were snatched
But this time that curve was inverted
All happiness lost and all shine diverted

She landed on my palm again
I wished I could turn it up side down
But I was scared my hands too hard and I frowned
“Than how would spark she gain..??”

What I could do I had an idea I’ll blow happiness to her from my lips
My ‘Breaths’ to provide her warmth and ‘Care’ to give her tips
I Commit I’ll put my golden feather on top of clouds where it could freely play
And I’ll be there forever its all that I could say
It’ll dream, shine, and captivate all eyes again
Trust me my golden feather will smile again…

MY FIRST BRIDE (FirsT PriZe WinnER CoLLeGe CreaTiVe WriTing)

One morning, one boy, one question unknown

Where actually he needs to go, he was thinking all alone

People, crowd, faces all around

All eyes staring at him as if he was a clown

It was like a whole new world, as if he was born again

From whom should he talk to, to whom to explain?

That was I; it was my first day at BSSS

Wandering here and there, I was looking for my class

I asked a teacher, she said, “check notice” hmm, how stupid I was!

I went and searched the list very quietly

With a feel inside that I’ll study here nicely

I found my name in sec-c list

So nOw I know where to go, I jerked my fist

I felt so proud that I was ready to Learn

And this I learnt in next one month

‘B.Com Sec-c was only made for fun’

My class had characters that cannot be defined

Me being one even I was refined

The problem was with the class; it was loaded with extra features

And all those features were the reason for we crazy creatures

So now you’ll know why Sec-c was different

And why was our class losing its attendance

Because of the four corners our classroom had

All boys in my class were super-cool lads

The back-left widow showed us college canteen

Very tasty food distracting us

The front-right door gave a view of women-cell

All worldly beauties attracting us

The back-left door leads to college alumni

Where everyone wants to shine, no one can deny

From front-left window, we gazed our college gate

Yeah! (Walking from there most of us lose weight)

The sight of parking lot urged us to get back home

See, the college was only like a village and our class like Rome

Only I know how awesome was the ride

My class, Sec-c was my first Bride
